Application, technical index, performance and spec of galvanized coils and sheets Galvanized coils and sheets are mainly used in architecture, light industry, automobile, agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery, and commerce, etc. In architecture industry, they are mainly used to manufacture roof panel and roof grate of anti-corrosive industrial and civil building; in light industry, they are used to make shell of household electrical appliance, chimney for civil use, kitchenware, etc; in automobile industry, they are used to make anti-corrosive parts of car; in agriculture, animal husbandry, and fishery, they are used to make freezing processing tools for grain storage & transport, meat, and sea food; in commerce, it is used as storage, transport, and packaging tools of materials.

PPGI is prepainted galvanized steel, also known as precoated steel, coil coated steel, color coated steel etc. A galvanized steel sheet in coil form is cleaned, pretreated, applied with various layers of organic coatings which can be paints, vinyl dispersions, or laminates. These coatings are applied in a continuous process known as Coil Coating. The steel thus produced in this process is a prepainted, prefinished ready to use material. PPGI is the material which uses galvanized steel as the basic substrate metal. There could be other substrates such as aluminum, galvalume, stainless steel, etc.
